Celebrations

Last weekend, we celebrated Andy Friday, Saturday, Sunday and on his actual birthday, which was Monday!

Starting off the weekend, we had a party for friends at our church.  We used the new playground and picnic table area to enjoy a perfect night with friends outside!  Here are some pictures:

Andy and Kallee were born two days apart and we share so many friends that we had a joint party again this year.
This is Andy's favorite picture pose these days!

On Saturday, we went to Greg's parents for dinner, cake and ice cream.  The boys played outside and Andy enjoyed opening gifts there.  He was super excited about his new two seater swing for our playground and a new Matchbox boat.  Grandma also gave him Daddy's entire collection of Sweet Pickles books.  We have read a different one every night since then :)

On Sunday night, we went to dinner with Aunt Jenny "Ninny" and Uncle Jason.  Andy got a present from Carter, Cora and Ellie.  Carter wanted him to have his very own Star Wars figures (like he, Blake and Noah all have) and he also got a Star Wars t-shirt (which he has asked for several times).

On Monday, Mommy sang to him all day!  That night, we went to Gatti's Pizza for dinner, played a few games and came home for a few presents.  Noah and Blake had each purchased a gift for Andy.  Blake got him his own nerf gun.  Noah got him a remote control Mario car.  Both were BIG hits!  He got a new backpack/lunchbag for preschool from Mommy and Daddy.  We also got him a few new books and workbooks to practice writing his name.  He also got the movie, "Horton Hears a Who".

Daddy and Andy raced against Blake.
Blake won :)

This past Saturday night, the celebrations continued.  We went over to my grandparents house to see them and my parents, who were in town for the weekend.  My Mom and Mammaw had to get Andy yet another cake.  He blew out a candle and opened a present from each of them.  I think we have celebrated his birthday to the fullest!

What a BLESSING Andy is to our family.  He has a sweet personality.  He likes everything to be in its place and "just so".  He loves to read/be read to and is currently very into the Clifford books, Curious George, Bearenstein Bears, Marley, Dr. Seuss and now Sweet Pickles.  He stays in his bed at nap and nighttime.  He gets himself up and gets himself dressed and tries to get his own breakfast.  He thinks Blake and Noah are the greatest ever!  He LOVES to be outside.  He has these humongous eyes and ridiculously long eyelashes and a sweet grin.  I cannot imagine our life without him in it!

I am excited to see him grow (even if I wish it would go a little slower than it is right now!).  I cannot wait to see what BIG plans God has for his life and how he will use him!

I love you buddy!
