A new cleaning crew

So today I was furiously cleaning house. I know, I know - it is Spring Break, but the house still has to be clean. The boys and I ran a few errands this morning. When we came home, Blake and Noah both helped carry in groceries. Then I went downstairs to do laundry and they helped some more. Blake got clothes out of the dryer, Noah helped push wet clothes into the dryer and Andy helped close the dryer door/throw in the bounce sheet. I ran the vacuum in the whole house while they played and ate lunch. Blake asked to help me clean their bathroom. He cleaned the sink and around the outside of the toilet. They brought their dishes to the sink after dinner and Blake swept the kitchen floor/under the table after dinner.
I am still WAY impressed by all the help I got today. Maybe this is the beginning of a new phase at our house! A mom can dream, right?
Actually, I am selling them short - they LOVE to help me. It is usually MY issue with letting them help. They may not always do things exactly the way I would do them or in the same amount of time. But that really isn't the point, is it? It really is more important to teach them how to do things and allow them to really be a part of our family..........sharing the weight and pitching in.
I need to take advantage of their desire to help - I am certain they will lose this desire at some point!
