So today I was able to run further than Sunday and decrease my time per mile to 10 minutes 35 seconds. This is GREAT for me! It really made my day because I have set a goal for myself to get to the mini-marathon with an average of a 9-10 minute mile. I know you have to have at least a 13 minute mile or you get knocked out of the race so I figured 9-10 was a comfortable place to be and I have six months to get there. But I don't know that I thought I could actually do it! I may not have the same time if I run tomorrow, but it is nice to know I CAN do it. Today was super cold and it was snowing/blowing the whole run. It is just great to get through it and know that I CAN do it!!
