Second Week of Lent

I hope you are immersed in the Lenten season with us!

This week the verses are continuing out of the Book of John in the New Testament.

Monday- 3:1-21
Tuesday - 3:22-36
Wednesday - 4:1=30
Thursday - 5:1-18
Saturday - 5:19-47

Did you decide to give something up for Lent? I think I shared that I was giving up Mt. Dew. I also gave up watching television at night. I am letting myself watch one show. But this frees me up from the temptation to plop on the couch once the boys go to bed and watch 2-3 hours of mindless television. I have had more time to talk to Greg, read a book (I am almost through GWB's Decision Points) and work in my scrapbook room. It has also given me time to pursue God through reading and prayer.
