Bedroom makeover

I LOVE this blog post by Blue Cricket Design. I have been looking for something to jazz up our room a little bit and I really like how she took old shutters to make a headboard. We have two dressers that are fine, even if I want to paint them. We've considered getting a king size bed in the past, but then our headboard/footboard would not work (which would be FINE with me!). Making a custom headboard like this would be perfect!
