February just always seems wild and crazy to me. We have snow days and get cabin fever. The boys seem more rambunctious because they aren't getting enough activity outside.
School gets a little wild with beginning preparations for next year while simultaneously marching on through the current year.
Today I am at a regional spelling bee with Noah. He is representing his class for the second time. He also did this in first grade.
He did well and spelled first three words correctly. Of course, while other kids were sobbing because they missed a word, Noah walks down the aisle to me with a sideways grin on his face and shrugged his shoulders as I'd to say, "It's ok, Mommy, no big deal!".
I am glad he is more laid back than I am in this instance. He was past it as soon as it was over and ready for fun.
