Birthday Celebrations

July is our BIRTHDAY month!

Blake and Greg's dad share a birthday on July 3.  Noah has a birthday on July 21 (shared by my stepbrother, Wayne).  Between our yearly pool party for their birthdays, dinners with Greg's parents on their actual birthdays, and a few fun things thrown in between, it feels like we celebrate all month long.

The picture at the right is Greg carrying Blake from the delivery room to the nursery at the hospital.  It was before digital camera, so I took a picture of it in his scrapbook! This is the first picture of Blake and his Daddy.  So hard to believe he is NINE YEARS OLD!




Here are a few pictures from our first round of celebrations:

Blake wanted to go to see Madagascar 3 on his birthday.  I goofed and thought it was still playing here at our theatre and it wasn't.  We had to go another night.

We ended up going swimming with friends, eating at Zaxby's, going back to Jenny and Jason's for ice cream and cookies and shooting off some fireworks.

The picture at right is from their birthday pool party.  There was a little clap of thunder, so everyone got out of the pool for 15 minutes and had some snacks.









Then we went to Lake Barkley for the weekend for cake and presents with Greg's parents and fun on the water.  The boys got to see another big fireworks display that Saturday night from the marina.

Noah's birthday is this coming Saturday, so we'll have round two of fun to post next week!  He is actually having dinner Friday night with Greg's parents, going to a friend's birthday pool party on Saturday and we'll do something fun that night for him too.
