I also had signed myself up to make these adorable little Valentine's Day bags with Noah's kindergarten class. You take all sorts of hearts and put them on a clear piece of contact paper. Then you place another piece of clear contact paper on top (this is easier said than done!) and fold in half. Staple the sides together. Hole punch two holes at the top and use some sort of ribbon for handles. I used curling ribbon. Then each child hung the bag on the back of their chair to let their friends place treats and cards inside.

The other Valentine's project I signed myself up for were red-velvet cupcakes for Blake's class party. While I was making the candy-grams, Greg ended up making the cupcakes. I iced and sprinkled them! They were a success.I was in and out of school quite a bit this week in addition to a PTF meeting and an Education Committee meeting after school. FINALLY, Friday arrived. The boys only had a half day of school so we loaded up with some of their friends and headed to Gatti's pizza for lunch. It was GORGEOUS outside, so we decided to head to the park and ended up playing there for more than two hours! Ice cream cones at McDonald's topped off the afternoon.

Saturday we had Blake's ball game. I then spent about 4 hours outside. I washed windows, cleaned out flower beds and played with the boys. We got so much accomplished! Blake and Greg went to the UK vs. SC basketball game. It was Blake's first game. He had fun - even if he won't tell you that :)
Sunday I decided to purge my house of snowmen! I got out the Easter eggs, bunnies and spring decor. Even if Ol' Man Winter decided to show himself again before the official start to spring, I am focusing on warmer days ahead.
