Winding Up the School Year

UNBELIEVABLE!

I now have a 5th grader, 3rd grader and a soon to be Kindergartner!  (Plus a 20 month old)

How did that happen already?  I mean - - BLAKE will start his last year in elementary school this fall.  I honestly was so busy with all the end of school festivities, I really couldn't let myself absorb this fact.  But now, I have time to contemplate and it makes me a little weepy.

I am so proud of how they finished out their year!  We had the art show in May and they both had some nice pieces in that.  Blake had his Spring Musical, 4-h camp with Daddy, a bike rodeo and more.  He received the Principal's Commendation Award for all A's on all report cards this year.  He also received the "Problem Solver" award from his homeroom teacher.  He scored very well on his Spring testing across the board!

Noah was on the All A & B honor roll for the year.  His only B was in handwriting, so I count that as doing really well.  He also got a 100 A+ on his "State Project" on Wisconsin. This is no small feat!  He made a book with a fact about each letter of the alphabet around the state of Wisconsin.  There are very specific guidelines to follow and it was a hefty project for a 2nd grader.  He did really well on his spring testing (99% in Math - WOW).

Andy had his preschool program and sang.  He got the "Hug" award from his preschool teacher, Mrs. Doolin, because he was always giving hugs.  He just seems so little to me still.  I cannot even think about him starting Kindergarten!

We finished out the school year with a bang.  I think I am just now recovering from it all :)
