Last night, we took the boys to the production of Christmas in Mayberry at a local church here in town. None of us had ever been to it before and the boys were excited about seeing it. One of Noah's favorite shows on tv is The Andy Griffith Show. I knew several people who were going to be in the program and tried to prepare the boys for what the show would be like.
The program was great! The boys said their favorite characters were Barney, Goober and Ernest T. Bass. There were several really funny moments in the show. There were musical numbers interspersed throughout the program by the local "town choir".

At the end of the program their Minister to Seniors asked the audience how many had never been there to see Mayberry before and a rather large portion raised their hands. This is the 13th year they have offered the show. He also asked how many people were from somewhere other than Frankfort. Again, a large portion of the audience raised their hands. He said that is one of the reasons they keep doing it each year.
I am impressed by the dedication of the church and the participants to put something like that on, night after night, year after year. KUDOS to CCCC for a job well done!
