Fall Soccer

This past Saturday, we began our annual fall soccer games.  This is the fifth year Blake has played in the fall.  We could not have asked for a more perfect day to play.  It had rained quite a bit the night before and cooled things off considerably.

We traveled to Lincoln County to play a team there.  It took us about an hour and twenty minutes to get there.

There were only eight players there due to some illness, so we only had one sub and Blake had to play a lot of the game.

The team did well and ended up winning 3-2.  Blake played defender and wing and had a good game.

Blake got to serve as a captain for Saturday's game.

I wish I could have gotten a few "action" shots during the game, but I was busy keeping Noah, Andy and Jake happy.  Andy was running laps around the adjacent field and Noah was timing him with my phone.  Jake was pretty content in his stroller for the first half of the game, but wanted out the second half.  They certainly keep me busy - especially when Greg is coaching and not on the sidelines with us!

We have at least 7 or 8 more games to go, so I know I'll get some pictures at some point this season!
