Reading List for 2012

If you know me, you know I love to read.

I create this Reading List each year to share with you, but also to help me remember all the books I want to read!

I just finished The Litigators by John Grisham, which was a little more humorous than most of his books I can remember reading.

I am currently reading through Seven:  An Experimental Mutiny Against Excess by Jen Hatmaker.  I will post a review about that book by tomorrow and I also have an advance copy to give away on the blog!

Here are some other books I'd like to read.  Some are carried over from last year but most of them are new.

1.  Choosing to See - Mary Beth Chapman
2.  Crazy Love - Francis Chan
3.  Barefoot Church - Brandon Hatmaker
4.  Summer Rental - Mary Kay Andrews
5.  Bull's Island - Dorothea Benton Frank
6.  The Best of Me - Nicholas Sparks
7.  Hunger Games - Suzanne Collins
8.  Catching Five - Suzanne Collins
9.  Home Front - Kristin Hannah
10.  Night Road - Kristin Hannah
11.  The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - Stieg Larsson
12.  Heaven is for Real - Todd Burpo with Lynn Vincent
13.  Killing Lincoln - Bill O'Reilly and Martin Dugard
14.  The Time of Our Lives - Tom Brokaw
15.  Sarah's Key - Tatiana de Rosnay

Including the one I already read and the one I am finishing up, that is 17 books.  I know I will add to that through the year, but this is a good place to start!  I'd also like to finish up reading all the Chronicles of Narnia books by C.S. Lewis to my boys.  We are at the end of The Silver Chair right now.

What books are you currenly reading or want to read this year?

  1. I really liked "Devil in the White City" by Erik Larson. It is non fiction. I also highly recommend books by Tana French. The first is called "In the Woods." The second I would read is "The Likeness." I can't remember the exact name of her third.

On your list I loved the Hunger Games & Sarah's Key. I have enjoyed all the Kristin Hannah books that I have read too.
